PT. Korina Refinery Aceh is a joint venture (JV) between PT. Wangsa Energi Prakarsa, Indonesia and McSong Holdings, South Korea. This strategic partnership facilitates the incorporation of our project to construct an integrated oil refinery and petrochemical complex.
Based in Lhokseumawe – Arun Special Economic Zone (SEZ Arun), Aceh Province, Indonesia, the project plans to develop 615 hectares of land along with having an important strategic maritime location and a competitive advantage being in the path of international shipping lines across the Indian Ocean, Malaka Straight and the China Sea. Thus, easing the process of transport in and out and enhancing the fuel supply to the western region of Indonesia.
The project will have a crucial role in renovating the area into a premier facility for the oil and gas industry, as it will have the capacity to produce 300,000 barrels of crude oil per day. Diesel, jet fuel, naphtha, gasoline and LPG are to be our primary products.
